Do you still want darker colour of Henna than this ?

Do you still want darker coloured mehndi than this ?

Do you still want dark colour of mehndi than this? then surly you need to go through this some of the most tried tips stated. These are well established ways which does not have any side effects.

1. Leave henna for a longer time:

Let mehndi stay for 7 to 8 hours and if possible leave it for 12 hours so that the actual rich colour can develop. Mehandi is not going to gift its original tan if you remove the mehndi quicker or by mistake if it is washed off. Never wash with water; correct way is to brush your palms together till the dried henna falls off! Don't be Nervous!! Initially in few hours it will first attain bright orange colour and gradually it will develop into darker shade. Darkest point of natural henna requires roughly 24-48 hours.

2. Blot or spray sugar lemon mixture couple of times:

Boil some sugar in water and allow it to cool. Now gradually pour this mixture into a bowl and add a few drops of lemon juice and smear this lemon sugar mixture with a smooth cotton ball a couple of times on the henna once it has dried. This solution will moist the henna and protect it from cracking and it will stay long on skin. The sugar keeps the mehndi in contact with the skin for deeper penetration, while the lemon juice acts as a catalyst for dye release and deep penetration of colour. As soon as you feel mehandi drying up on your hands or legs, apply the mixture of lemon juice and sugar so that the henna paste remains intact and mehandi can be kept for longer period. Be careful not to over use this mixture as it will pull back the color. One can also use spray bottle filled with this lemon sugar juice to spritz on dried henna designs.

3. Wrapping up the design:

Many also suggest wrapping the henna design with a tape as it gives a rich and darker colour. Be cautious!! Not to spoil the henna design. It is best you ask the expert to do so, or have somebody else do it in her supervision. You can use medical paper tape to gently wrap up the mehndi. 4.The Magic Of Clove Smoke:

Try this method for a fabulous and rich penetration of the mehndi design on your palms. First apply the lemon sugar mixture as stated above. Now put some cloves on a pan and turn on the flame. When fumes starts coming from the pan, place your hands above the pan carefully. Let the fumes dry up the sugar and lemon mixture. And let your skin can absorb the clove oil mixed smoke. This helps the mehndi get darker as it dries. Now leave this henna until dusk or scrape off the henna with a blunt knife.

After scrapping up the henna crust apply Vaseline or Vicks on the palm. This will stimulate the colour progression. Applying coconut oil will also help to improve the colour. To avoid fading colour soon, apply Vaseline or coconut oil or balm on henna designed skin when you are going to do work with water or going to take bath. ** Lesser known facts about Henna ** Genuine Henna powder is always prepared from original henna leaves and it does not contain any chemical or secret ingredient and henna paste prepared from and it does not smell like hair dye or kerosene. Fresh henna is never black. mehndi-designs After dried up and scraping off the henna designs the Henna colour progression is from bright pumpkin to dark brown. The stain will always be darker on the palms, as the thicker part of the skin can absorb more henna and light-coloured toward the skin of the wrists and arms. *Dos and Dont's* * Always prepare henna paste from the natural fresh henna powder and to enhance its colour, add a few drops of eucalyptus or Mehndi Oil. * To ensure a dark tinge, Henna paste should be mixed a day before of the event. * Never ever use a blow dryer to dry the mehndi on your palms and legs. This may ruin the design. * Avoid drinking too much of water or any juice just before application. * While good light is necessary for the henna artist to see her strokes, avoid sitting under direct sunlight. * If possible avoid a shower for at least 12 hours post application. Ensure you book your manicure and pedicure appointment two days prior to the Mehndi ceremony. Waxing too is best done two days before application. Nap well before the henna appointment and be clear with the design you want. Follow these tips so that the color of your mehandi comes out deep, dark and rich that you have always wished and gives you that sombre effect and then you look stunning on your special day.
